So this is me Loren Whiffin (although more often than not it’s LOZ) in a film by Carmel Cosgrove.

The other night on Andrew Denton I heard a song by Melinda Schneider called, ‘Just be yourself because everybody else is taken’. That’s my song, the one I want to wake up to every morning. As an artist it all works best when you are just being yourself, but we all have pressures and distractions that do not always allow us the luxury of being in our own space, that point where it’s only you with the medium that is your passion. It’s an addictive space that somehow you just want more of the drug that allows you to create and to express what is inside.
So here is a look at what I have achieved when I can escape into that space. These pictures of my work are taken by Terence Bogue.
